PET/SPECT Preclinical Imaging

MILabs VECTor4CT

The pre-clinical imaging facility in the Department of Oncology hosts a MILabs VECTor4CT (MILabs, Utrecht) PET/SPECT/CT imaging system. This enables simultaneous imaging of both PET and SPECT isotopes through multi-pinhole detection of single gamma rays. Five collimators are available with applications spanning high resolution (<0.35mm) or high sensitivity (<13,000 cps/MBq) imaging in mice, rats and phantom studies. The high resolution CT scanner offers continuous variable isotropic voxel resolutions of 2.5-200 mm. Purpose built animal handling and physiological maintenance equipment is available.
